- Sudhir Kumar Gautam (Indian fan)
An iconic supporter of the Indian cricket team and a passionate fan of Sachin Tendulkar, Sudhir Kumar Gautam has vibrantly been spotted attending all India’s home matches since 2003. Lean in physical structure, this Bihar man has his conch shell loud and roaring to support his fellow cricket men. Painting himself with the Indian tri-colour, Sudhir speaks loud for his passion for Indian cricket. BCCI has also sponsored this man for the passion & dedication he had devoted to cricket. A dream came true for Sudhir when he got a chance to meet Sachin Tendulkar post winning the final world cup in 2011.
- Chacha Cricket (Pakistani fan)
Chaudhry Abdul Jalil is one of Pakistan’s most dedicated supporters. A truck driver in UAE, Chaudhry became a world-famous fan during the Sharjah cup matches held in the 1980s. Green Salwar kameez with a shiny white beard, Chaudhry supported his team like a true fan. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also sponsored him for all Pakistan cricket matches that took place around the world. - Barmy Army (English cricket supporters)
Barmy Army was originally started by three English cricket fans when they were headed out to Australia to cheer for England. This was the Ashes series of 1994 when these supporters constantly chanted cheers for the England cricket team even during the bad performance elements. Australian media addressed them as the “Barmy Army” and today this team is much larger than 3 members.
- GRAVY The Entertainer ( West Indies cricket supporter)
Labon Kenneth Blackburn Leeweltine Buckonon Benjamin or simply addressed as the “gravy” was a super West Indies cricket fan. He was significantly known for his famous style of walking into the stadium. Fans around him cherished his entertainment skills, costumes and also his synchronized band artists supported his enthusiastic dance for cricket love. He never was paid for the same on his will. Gravy was an ageing, big-bearded, cross-dressing (platform shoes, shawl and tutu) gymnast, dancer and whole-hearted cricket supporter during the late ’90s.
- Bharat Army (Indian cricket supporters)
Similar to that of the Barmy Army, the Bharat army was started by four Indians, who went down to England to support their nation. Founded in 1999, today this group is huge and has been seen in many ICC cricket matches to date.
